CEs for Working the Polls on November 2, 2021

Would you like to earn 4 hours of continuing education while serving fellow Ohioans?  The pandemic is still unfortunately impacting those who normally work on election day.  The CSWMFT Board is offering licensees the opportunity to earn four (4) hours of continuing education for serving as a Poll Worker for the 2021 General Election.  To qualify for the four hours, CSWMFT licensees must complete the training offered by their county board of elections and work Election Day, Tuesday, November 2, 2021. Licensees who want to use the hours toward their continuing education requirements must upload to the CE Broker post-program approval portal a copy of their pay stub for the training and Election Day work.  A letter of confirmation from the board of elections may also be uploaded.

Please note that only Election Day work hours completed under the direction of a county board of elections (e.g. Precinct Election Official) may be used to claim the four hours of continuing education. Other activities, whether partisan or non-partisan, for example acting as an election observer/poll watcher or driving persons to the poll, do not qualify for CE.

To sign up to be a poll worker, or for more information on serving as a poll worker, go to https://www.ohiosos.gov/elections/poll-workers/. (Note: when signing up, use your license number for the "registration number" entry).
