Replace Wall Certificate

As of 2017, the Board no longer mails wall certificates.  When requesting a new wall certificate, an electronic copy will be provided to you, which you can print off and display in your office as needed.  There is no fee for this service.

Please note, the wall certificates do not show an expiration date, and don’t need to be updated upon renewal.  If you need to verify your expiration date, go to the Board's online license verification here: https://elicense.ohio.gov/OH_HomePage which will show your current dates and status. 

 

To request a replacement wall certificate, please see the instructions below:

 

Go to: elicense.ohio.gov

Click Login / Create Your Account. If you are not already registered in eLicense you must register before requesting another wall certificate

Once you register and log in. You may go to your License “Tile” (the Tile looks like a mini-certificate) and click the option button.

From the drop down menu you can choose to:

  •         Renew
  •         Reinstate
  •         Duplicate/Replacement Wall Certificate
  •         Change Address
  •         Change Name (licensees with multiple licenses should indicate in comments which license certificates must be replaced) Pay only one fee.
  •         Send Verification
  •         Special Request
  •         Submit additional Documentation 

Once your request is received and processed, a new electronic certificate will be emailed to you.
