a. BSW applicants take the Bachelors exam through ASWB
b. MSW or MSSA applicants take the Bachelors, Advanced Genralist or Clinical through ASWB
c. The Clinical and Advanced Generalist exams qualify an applicant for both the LSW and the LISW

g. If you have a degree in social work, either a bachelors or masters, you will need to submit:
1. Exam Preapproval Application
2. LSW Application - Online
3. Copy of your driver's license or state ID
4. Academic proof of degree or letter of good standing
h. If you have a LSW with a BACH exam and a MSW on file with the Board, you will need to submit:
1. Exam Preapproval Application
2. Copy of your driver's license or state ID
i. If you have a LSW without MSW on file with the Board, you will need to submit:
1. Exam Preapproval Application
2. Copy of your driver's license or state ID
3. Academic proof of degree or letter of good standing

12. Renewal Information:
a. Social Workers are now able to take all thirty hours of their CEUs through distance learning. In addition, any CEU approved through the NASW or the ASWB are acceptable for renewal of your social work license without Board approval.
